A Lifetime of Impact
Ryan’s National Brain Tumor Boston Walk team was one of the top fundraising teams for three straight years, raising over $40,000 from 2017-2019.
Ry’s dear friend Jess DiPhilippo reached out to Ry in the fall of 2020 and asked if he wanted to be the focal point of a fundraiser for Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston. True to form Ry quickly confirmed with the attitude he wanted to be part of something to “help others so they never have to go through what he was going through.” This effort raised over $46,000 from late 2020 into early 2021.
After Ry left us his family offered people the opportunity to make donations to Maine Children’s Cancer Program in lieu of flowers. People near and far rallied to Ry and donated over $28,000 to MCCP in the spring of 2021.
The GoFundMe established to raise funds to renovate The Ryan Rogers Memorial Courts raised over $54,000 from the spring to the summer of 2021.
The Ryan Rogers Samaritan Fund has raised over $368,000 since inception in July of 2021 ($208,000 from the Ryan Rogers Memorial Golf Tournament and the remaining $160,000 coming from donations directly to the scholarship fund).

How can one person, at such a young age, resonate with so many people to raise so much money for important causes near and dear to his heart?
Ry matured into an incredible young man intent on effecting positive change in the lives of people around him. His legacy will carry on, many people will continue to be drawn to him, and his spirit will live on with us all through these wonderful things being done in his name.
