The Ryan Rogers Samaritan Fund was established to support Saint Joseph's College of Maine students in need of financial assistance, to seek to broaden the diversity of the student body, and to promote a spirit of volunteerism and community service among the grant recipients. Luke 10:33-34 describes The Good Samaritan, a parable that illustrates the obligation to love everyone, regardless of social standing, religion, or other manmade sources of division.
